Wilkesboro Resilience Hub at former Lowe's headquarters
Wilkes County
Summary
Wilkesboro wants to turn the old Lowe's 'Outpost' headquarters into a resilience hub for disaster preparedness, with High Country Community Health running a dental clinic that can scale up to emergency medical care during storms like Hurricane Helene. The county signed a support letter to help the town's grant application — without spending any county money.
